STREICHER Awarded Preferred Supplier Status by ZEISS

Thanks to the joint services provided by STREICHER Plzeň und STREICHER Elektrotechnik in numerous projects over the past few years, the company STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has been awarded the Preferred Supplier Status by the ZEISS Group.

Approved, preferred, strategic – these are the categories in which the German technology company, one of the world’s leading players in the optical and optoelectronic industry, classifies its suppliers. Since June 2024, STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG can now also take pride in being named a preferred supplier.

“In Štěnovice, we are responsible for project management, the overall concept of the system and its functionality, as well as the mechanical and pneumatic components. Our colleagues at STREICHER Elektrotechnik handle the electrical components, the operating concept, the safety concept, and the user interface” explains Robert Anděl, who serves as the project manager responsible for the contracts for ZEISS.

“The designation as a preferred supplier puts us in the category of suppliers important to ZEISS—those that ZEISS aims to further support and develop. It means we possess capabilities that are very important to ZEISS” says Robert Anděl.

The ZEISS Group operates worldwide with more than 46,000 employees in approximately 50 countries, including over 60 sales and service locations, around 40 research and development sites, and 35 production sites.
