Jakub is in his 3rd year at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty – University of West Bohemia and is supporting our construction team to improve the S-Cube modular chamber system which was developed in Stenovice. We asked Jakub about his bachelor thesis:
"I was given the opportunity to work on a bachelor’s thesis on the following topic: Production design of aluminium optical tables. These optical tables are used in a vacuum environment. There are several problems associated with their use in production technology, including the imperfection of aluminium. So, it is a difficult task for the S-Cube project team. My bachelor’s thesis focuses on the production of modular vacuum chambers with variability-oriented assembly and other features that a potential customer may want."
Recent renovations were focused on creating a pleasant work environment. Modern workspaces were created which include an outdoor terrace with views of the surrounding village of Stenovice through an all-glass facade.
We invest regularly in the modernisation of our machinery and technical equipment – the load capacity of the largest rotating table is 40 tons.
Our welding workshop is divided into two separate rooms for processing stainless and carbon steels. Thanks to a 3-metre assembly pit, we can handle large pieces of iron up to 64 tons.
For the most complex vacuum applications, we provide cleaning and assembly services, and final testing of products in a clean area of 1,700 m3.
