STREICHER Plzeň becomes a Member of the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster

In June, the engineering division of STREICHER Plzeň became part of the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster (CNSC).

CNSC is an organisation that brings together top companies operating in the semiconductor industry, along with academic institutions and research centers. It also collaborates with the Czech government on setting Czech and EU priorities for the semiconductor industry.

"We are proud to join the ranks of organisations focused on this strategic area. We believe that with our many years of experience in the development and production of vacuum chambers and systems, we can contribute to the growth of the semiconductor industry in Europe, and thus help increase its self-sufficiency," comments Jiří Lopata, CEO of STREICHER Plzeň.

CNSC is also part of the Silicon Europe alliance, in which twelve renowned clusters from various European countries cooperate. Through them, Silicon Europe represents more than two thousand companies and research institutions that are leaders in digital technologies, including micro- and nanoelectronics, cybersecurity, photonics, and robotics.

For STREICHER, membership in the CNSC also presents an opportunity to strengthen relations with partners across Europe.
