Since 2000, so over 20 years.
What led you to this job?
I trained as a locksmith, so I found a job in this field. I was following in the path of my dad who was also a locksmith and worked in the industry for many years. After school, I found a job at an engineering company in Pilsen-South, but the company went bankrupt after a few years. I wanted to stay in the industry, which led me to STREICHER.
Which aspect of the job do you enjoy the most?
My work is varied, but most of all I enjoy polishing and working in cleanrooms where assembly is done in a special environment with a controlled concentration of particles in the air. I also enjoy change and seeing the final product after all the manufacturing processes have been completed.
What advice would you give to someone considering a similar job?
If someone is interested in this profession, they should be patient, meticulous, and reliable. They should also be willing to learn about flow and technological procedures from more experienced colleagues.
